The Coppell Farmers Market was established in 2003 by Coppell citizens that had a vision for a farmers market in Old Town Coppell with the support of the City of Coppell. Since then, and today, the Coppell Farmers Market is run by a steering committee of citizen volunteers, city liaison, and vendor input.
The 501(c)3 non-profit that oversees the market is the Coppell Community Garden. The Chair and Co-Chair of the Coppell Farmers Market Committee are on the Board of Directors. The CFM Committee meets monthly at the Coppell Service Center, with subcommittees, like vendor approval, marketing, and special events, meeting separately as needed.
Feedback from the vendors and customers is important for the organization to continue to be viable in the community. Surveys are conducted and comments are encouraged on the Facebook page, or by emailing
