Gresham adds, “There is no limit on the number of knives a person can bring. We sharpen kitchen cutlery, pocket knives and hunting knives. If a person needs something sharpened and is not sure if I will sharpen it, just bring it and we will take a look at it. People can drop their knives off and pick them up after they have shopped. We do take cash, credit cards (except American Express) and checks. Our charge is $.85 a blade inch with a minimum of 5 inches. If you have a 4 inch paring knife it is still billed as a 5 inch knife. Serrated knives are $1.10 per inch. Cleavers are $7.00. There is a charge for repairs such as broken tips and chips in the blade.” Sharp knives cause fewer accidents so bring in those knives that need a sharpened edge.
