Adam Van Cleave once told his wife that it might be fun to make his own jerky. Carmen remembered that and later surprised him with a dehydrator. His jerky turned out so tasty and fun that Adam now owns several commercial dehydrators to dry his small batch, craft beef jerky. He uses U.S. Angus beef because of its natural marbling, which he marinates in the best spices and seasonings. He crafts several flavors with various heat levels.
