Rotating Vendors Add to the Market’s Variety

You may have noticed some familiar faces from December through March showing up at the regular market on an occasional basis. Three winter market artisan food producers are rotating weekends for the weekly season.

Each first Saturday, Ipanema Brazilian cheese bread will join the regular vendors. Hortencia Dunaway brings her fat-free and gluten-free Brazilian bread made from only a few ingredients: tapioca flour, milk, eggs, olive oil and cheese plus special flavors needed for the varietal choices. These yummy cheese puffs go straight from the freezer to the oven, and are ready to enjoy in less than 20 minutes for a quick and easy party appetizer or side dish.

On the second Saturday of the month, Nasser Mazandarani brings his Wholesome Habits Kale Chips. He makes several flavors of nutrient dense kale chips, all free of sugar and gluten, all using whole, natural ingredients for flavorings, with every ingredient pictured on package labels. His passion for healthy, high-quality food is evident in this tasty, healthy snack.

Finally, on the third Saturday, customers can expect Milton Aschner of Chili-Honey Roasted Nuts. Chef Milton Gourmet also brings sea salt blends that now include fifteen flavors, the most popular of which is the Smoked Atlantic Sea Salt and Pepper Mélange. From start to finish, he smokes, grinds and mixes all of his salts and spices himself.
