The Coppell Farmers Market (CFM) hosted another fabulous Farm to Table Dinner on Saturday, October 14th. The event celebrates all who make possible the success of the Coppell Farmers Market including; food producers & ranchers, shoppers, volunteers, and supporters.
Vegetables, meat and artisan food items sourced from CFM producers were delicately prepared by Market vendors and Chefs Victoria and Robby Hooker, plus a team comprised of their cohorts and student chefs. One hundred twenty guests were seated at a long table, beneath lantern light on the porch of the Coppell Senior and Community Center. The guests were served a seven-course meal and libations by nearly 100 Coppell High School students and volunteers from the community.
The Coppell Farmers Market team has much gratitude for all who were involved. Proceeds from the dinner will help our farmers market continue to bring awareness to local food and farms, and will supplement our SNAP benefits program.
