Seeing an opportunity to earn a living working for themselves, Patrick and Esther Embry decided to pursue farming. Influenced by the agricultural principles of Joe Salatin, they initially raised chickens and cows. After establishing themselves at a local farmers market, vegetables were soon added to their product availability. Realizing that growing produce was more successful, they now focus on year-round vegetable crop production. Embry Family Farm continues to utilize sustainable growing methods.
