Twenty years ago when Mike moved to his property north of Forney, there was one peach tree. He added 40 more fruit trees that are now producing lovely peaches, pears, apples and plums. He was really just “foolin’ around” by planting them. Now Mike also grows many varieties of tomatoes and lettuce. Mike also brings peaches from Ham Orchards.
Mike is retired, and he and his wife Pat have three grown children and nine grandkids that enjoy picking fruit and minding the booth with grandpa. Conventional.
