CFM Parent Non-Profit is Seeking Board Members

The Coppell Sustainable Food Organization is looking for volunteers interested in serving on its board of directors. The CSFO oversees the Coppell Community Garden and the Coppell Farmers Market. Through the CCG volunteers adopt garden plots at one of three locations (Helping Hands at City Hall, Ground Delivery at the Post Office and Old Town at the Senior Center) and grow food that is donated to Metrocrest Community Services. The Farmers Market allows local farmers and artisanal food producers to sell their products in a community market place. The CSFO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

The Board is currently seeking an individual to serve as manager for the CCG, individuals with skills in accounting/finance, and anyone with an interest in healthy food. Please contact Lynne Messina, board president, at [email protected] before September 25 if you are interested.
