This Sunday is Mother’s Day, that day set aside to celebrate and pamper the special women in our lives. Are you behind on the shopping? Not to fret. Bring the kids and the dog and find everything needed at this weekend’s Coppell Farmers Market.
Breakfast in bed is the iconic plan. All the ingredients for a sumptuous meal can be found here: free range eggs, bacon or breakfast sausage, fresh roasted coffee ground to specifications, specialty bread or croissants, butter and jams. Even gluten free specialty breads can be found. Add some chocolate truffles and a pretty flowering plant for a lovely touch. Don’t forget her favorite pie, cookies, macarons, popsicles, or lemonade for dessert later in the day. Maybe she would enjoy a basket filled with one of each!
A booth worth checking out is Hidden Valley Creamery, the vendor recently licensed to sell drinkable yogurt and goat milk. A refreshing glass of drinkable yogurt would be a surprise addition to a breakfast tray. Hidden Valley excitedly described “Our newest product is drinkable yogurt made with fresh whole milk from our own goats, organic fruit and non-GMO pure cane sugar! Our probiotic yogurt is very mild tasting (great for kids) and has just enough sweetness to make it oh-so-yummy!”
While at Abundantly Aromatic’s booth, put together a spa package of hand crafted soap, candles, lotions, and scrubs and find some soothing lip balm at Round Rock Honey. Mom would be quite pleased with any of these selections.
