Resignation Message from Rehoboth Ranch

Announcement Published by Rehoboth Ranch on May 29, 2020.

Friends!

We’d like to ask for a moment of your time to update you on some important and exciting changes at Rehoboth Ranch.

Many of you are aware that a silver lining of the COVID-19 pandemic has been an increased awareness of the importance of regenerative agriculture and sustainable, local, and regional food systems.

The primary impact on Rehoboth Ranch has been a dramatic increase in demand for our products, and we have been working overtime since the beginning of March to keep up. Its been a little crazy, but are very happy with opportunity to help more people obtain wonderful meat products!

Additionally, we were thrilled to discover several weeks ago that we are expecting child number 4…and 5…and 6. Yes, we are expecting completely natural spontaneous triplets! No one is more shocked than us! We are thrilled about this beyond description, but this change in our life combined with consistent and dramatic sales increases have made it necessary to expedite important decisions regarding the direction of our business.

We have made the difficult decision to withdraw as a regular weekly vendor from the Coppell Farmer’s Market. This is a such a hard decision for us because the market has been so wonderful to us for so many years, but it is necessary so we can focus our time and energies on increasing production and direct delivery avenues.

Never fear though, we are NOT stopping delivery to Coppell and the surrounding areas we are just shifting to a different method! Our Coppell Customers have been incredible with all these shifts in operation thanks to COVID and we are not going away!

This Saturday (May 29th) will be our last regularly scheduled week at the market.

Beginning June 6 we will deliver pre-orders only to the Coppell Farmers Market until a new vendor is found to replace us full time, at which point we’ll continue delivering to Coppell but potentially on a different day and time. (We will be sending out some polls to get YOUR feedback on days and times that work best for you.)
We won’t abandon you, Coppell friends!

What does this mean for our future?

It means our focus will be on expanding our drop-points, direct-to-home delivery, and on-Ranch sales. Currently, we will continue with our current drop points to Frisco, McKinney, Rockwall/Heath, and the Ranch in Greenville and expanding to other drops and home delivery as well. Look for delivery to Ft. Worth and Denton areas very soon!

We LOVE the Coppell Farmer’s Market and fully believe it is the best market in the DFW Metroplex. It breaks our hearts to leave and we feel like we are leaving, in a lot of ways, the market and dear people that raised us. However, at this time it’s the right decision for us AND for the market.

We will be able to focus more on all this sudden growth and other exciting avenues of Rehoboth Ranch and of course prepare for the exciting new chapter of our life with triplets!

To stay in the loop on our options for purchasing Rehoboth Ranch products in the future, you are in the right place! We use our email list to send out all our exciting updates and important info!.

We look forward to serving as each of you in the future.

Blessings,
Mark, Hillary, and the whole team at Rehoboth Ranch
