On Saturday, July 13th the Coppell Farmers Market will celebrate our customers!
In appreciation of our shoppers, we’re giving away organic cotton produce bags (limited supply) and hosting a full day of cooking demonstrations.
Cooking Demonstration Schedule:
All cooking demonstrations will be taught by CFM vendors, and ingredients will be sourced from the CFM!
10am “Beyond the Dip” with Custom Cafe owner, Pat Simon.
CC has been a vendor at our market for ages! They sell amazing custom soup/dip/bread dry mixes that are free of fake ingredients, like “natural flavors” and preservatives. For this Demo, Pat will teach us how to use her dry mixes in creative ways to make quick meals and potluck dishes.
10:45am Seasonal Berry Muffins and Sweet Herb Drizzle with Hazel’s Kitchen
Hazel’s Kitchen is owned by Coppellians and mother-daughter duo, Megan and Michelle. They’ll show us how to make blueberry cornmeal muffins with a sweet thyme glaze.
11:30am Local Ingredient Pizza featuring Jalapeno Pickles with T-Rex Pickles owner, Travis Bush
Travis will teach participants how to make pizza and yogurt dip on the stove top. He’ll source Brother’s homemade pita bread for the crust and a variety of toppings from CFM vendors. The feature ingredient will be T-Rex smoked jalapeno pickles. Yummm!
The Coppell Farmers Market fulfills grocery needs year-round. Vendors are vetted to ensure they grow and produce what they sell. Open Saturdays, 8am-noon. Located at 768 W. Main St. in Old Town Coppell.
