ABOUT GARDEN TIME FOR KIDS: During this weekly program at the CFM Learning Garden visitors will learn what’s growing and taste test in season vegetables.
WHEN: 10:30-11:15am every market Saturday
LOCATION: The Coppell Farmers Market Learning Garden is located near the splash pad, right next to the flagpole.
ACTIVITY SCHEDULE:
August 25– Dragonfly Craft
September 1– Garden Craft with Coppell High School National Art Honor Society Students
September 8– Compost, a chance for kids to get hands-on in the garden and help regenerate the soil.
September 15– Fall Garden Planting!
September 22– Scare Crow Making, participants will help make a scarecrow for the education garden.
September 29– Veggie Taste-Test and Garden Chores
October 6– Story Time
October 13– Pumpkin Painting
October 20– Fall Face Painting
October 27– Costume Gardening. Arrive in costume for candy, tend the garden in your disguise!
