Farmer Update: Late-Season Yields

We’ve been lucky to have a good selection of growers at the Coppell Farmers Market through the month of September due to the cooler temperatures and rain.  This October (as noted in the Dallas Morning News) a handful of growers have exhausted their late summer crops and await their first fall/winter harvest.

Visit on Saturdays for all your grocery needs, including: milk, eggs and bread, and take note that a bigger harvest will return in late October- early November (when cool-weather crops come in).  See the whole list of available goods (updated weekly).

Vegetable growers who will be temporarily absent
due to the late-season lull are:
  • Bridges Heritage Growers
  • Alford Family Farm
  • Fisher Family Farm
  • Mike Powell

Vegetable growers who will remain present during the late-season lull are:
  • Embry Family Farm
  • D-bar Farm
  • Cardo’s Sprout Farm
  • Tree Folk Farm (our newest)
  • Delanco Farm
  • Elliott Grows

The Coppell Farmers Market fulfills grocery needs year-round. Market staff visits all farms on a regular basis with the mission to ensure fruits and veggies are grown by the seller. Open Saturdays, 8am-noon. Located at 768 W. Main St. in Old Town Coppell.
